As in a good golf swing your video needs to be smooth and fluid. The golfer has to have a good solid stance to make a proper swing. In the same way a photographer needs a tripod that is very stable that can absorb absorb vibrations. One such video tripod is the new Manfrotto w/546B 2-Stage tripod that is innovative made from aluminum with the new 504HD fluid head. This video tripod is ideal for the small independent camera operator. This light weight video tripod and head, I would highly recommend to any camera. operator. The camera operator has many opportunities to find subjects to shoot, one area of inspiration is the golf enthusiasts wanting to see there golf swing in practice and on the golf course.

If you live in the country try using a wagon, tractor, snowmobile or try riding a horse. Just try using your camera stabilizer in as many situations that will test your ability to give you fluid smooth video in almost any situation that you might encounter. What a exciting place to take your video camera stabilizer, tripod equipment. The Iguazú Falls that borders Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay is one of the most impressive waterfalls in the world. This 1.68 mile falls has 275 distinct falls on the Iguazú river is 65 feet higher than Niagara Falls. Two thirds of the falls are on the Argentinian side of the river where you can also tour Iguazú National Park where there are jungle trails and bird hikes. Plan a full day in the park to fully enjoy the wildlife flora and fauna. This travel destination for camera stabilizer operator is a paradise. For travelling the light and compact Steadicam Merlin would be a good choice. Many stories would come from this exciting place so plan to stay for 2 or 3 days. The motion picture “The Mission ” was filmed at this location. When I get the opportunity I will be coming back to this destination with a camera stabilizer.

One of the advantages of belonging to a video club is finding ideas for a future video. Sometimes when I am out of ideas and I would like to hone my video camera tripod stabilizer skills, I take a chapter out of the club experiences. On such idea is the bag shoot that we do every year as a video project. The idea is simple gather up a selection of articles from around your home, office, local flee market. Now try to make a serious video about these articles or make a funny video or both. Have someone else make a video out of these articles and the result is totally two new videos. This idea can be expanded to other situations such as a a beautiful scene, your boat house, back yard or a family picnic. Make a story about  the location, make it funny serious use your imagination. Use your video camera tripod and camera stabilizer system mix it with your still images and you will have an interesting video that some else will like to watch.

Water foul are smarter than you think!

If video photography is your passion, then you’ll appreciate a story about nature project. About an hour from my home is a wild life conservation area. I try to take my video camera equipment to this area always finding new areas to shoot. I like to use the video camera tripod on shoots like this. The area has many small lakes that have thousands of water foul. It just happened to be the first day of hunting season which is allowed for specified times of the year. Hearing a lot big bangs I found not too many water foul around. Later driving to a different area a sign said no hunting. To my surprise those thousands of ducks where in the lake with no hunting. They are smarter than we think! This kind of nature shooting takes some water proof equipment to keep your camera safe. To get the shot with a video camera tripod I like to get into water to capture scenes that you can not get from dry land. When on land birds will not let you get close but when you in the water they seem to swim close to you.Observing and photographing water foul in their natural element helps you capture their true nature and beauty.By putting your camera a water level will convey the size and power of a waterfall. By experiencing nature shooting for yourself a whole new world will come alive using your video camera tripod.

Camera Stabilizer Inspiration

It’s time to get off the couch, get your camera gear together and find a video project. Take a drive in the country find some wildlife to shoot, maybe a county fair is in progress, a flea market may have many opportunities for subject matter. Every weekend you should find activities to find a story to tell. Maybe take a trip to the beech take shots of the waves, follow a ship or boat with your video camera stabilizer. One day a thunderstorm was approaching I unpacked the video camera and the video camera stabilizer with a raincoat and camera hood to keep the camera dry and took a walk through a forest, shooting water droplets coming off the leaves, taking video of sudden water streams and created a misty atmospheric video of a thunderstorm with all the sound effects. Because the trees prevented a lot of rain I did not get that wet Do you like the age of steam go to the many steam shows around the country every spring, summer and autumn and find the many storeys. You will find the entrants are more than willing to take time to give you all the information about their steam machinery that they love.
