I recommend watching the video’s first and then follow the written instructions after. The video camera stabilizer becomes easier to counterweight if the camera is heavier or not too light.

The smooth shooter would be recommended with the glidecam 2000 Pro or Glidecam 4000 Pro. Other reviewers suggest when ordering purchase the Manfrotto quick release plate that is highly recommended. The Glidecam is very difficult to control smoothly with any sort of wind or breeze. Extremely rugged terrain can make it difficult to keep the camera oriented. The counterweights are prone to shifting/slipping when system is laid down or stored for transport. Yes I would recommend this video camera stabilizer for cameras from 2 to 6 pounds. The Glidecam 2000 Pro is a must for amateur film makers or even professional film makers for a great price.You must practice practice practice!
