A Vinten professional tripod doesn’t have to be expensive The Vinten PRO-06-HDVF tripod system is designed to work with small camcorders weighing less than 13.2 lbs. This video camera tripod offers variable fluid drag, exceptional rigidity and a fully adjustable spreader; this system allows the user great functionality. This video camera tripod system comes with a floor spreader. The quick setup leveling bowl has a double threaded screw shank, which allows the bowl lock to be tightened and released quickly. Very handy when you are constantly adjusting the bowl to level the camera (especially on uneven terrain). This video camera tripod is built with a built-in illuminated bubble for horizontal leveling, ensuring easy leveling even under unfavorable lighting conditions. The Pro-06 has a perfect counter balanced lightweight pan and tilt head and the tripod is made of aluminum alloy construction with Pozi-Loc clamping system offer good torsional rigidity. This video camera tripod has been built similarly to the more expensive systems at a fraction of the price. This lightweight system for small cameras is built well and has a solid support. One con would be the head “sticks” in both horizontal and vertical positions even when both locks are disengaged. In “long” lens situations, you could get “jerky” shots.

Putting Some Thought into My Photos

In recent years, I’ve noticed that many of my friends have become amateur photographers. Armed with just a digital camera – or in some cases a cell phone – they document parties, trips and even aspects of their everyday lives and then share them on Facebook or Flickr. While I’m also guilty of posting a few superfluous photos, I prefer to take a more carefully chosen, artistic approach to my photography.

I like to wake up early on the weekends, taking my camera along with my Manfrotto tripod. I search all over the city for a suitable viewpoint – usually of a memorable landscape – and set up the tripod. The early morning light is perfectly suited for picture-taking, and it’s especially peaceful because few people are awake at that hour. The results are probably Facebook-worthy, but I prefer to keep them for a private collection.

One of the advantages of belonging to a video club is finding ideas for a future video. Sometimes when I am out of ideas and I would like to hone my video camera tripod stabilizer skills, I take a chapter out of the club experiences. On such idea is the bag shoot that we do every year as a video project. The idea is simple gather up a selection of articles from around your home, office, local flee market. Now try to make a serious video about these articles or make a funny video or both. Have someone else make a video out of these articles and the result is totally two new videos. This idea can be expanded to other situations such as a a beautiful scene, your boat house, back yard or a family picnic. Make a story about  the location, make it funny serious use your imagination. Use your video camera tripod and camera stabilizer system mix it with your still images and you will have an interesting video that some else will like to watch.

Camera Stabilizer Sachtler Tripod

Now, more than ever, you need a lightweight Sachtler Tripod. There are two main kinds of tripods the carbon fiber and aluminium Carbon Fiber video camera tripods have twin tubes instead of single tubes like  Manfrotto. Video tripods like the ones from Sachtler, Vinten, have three legs, but the legs are split into two tubes. Thus, six tubes attach to the tripod head, not three. This helps counteract the torque and twist that can occur, making these tripods a more solid support for serious videographers and photographers. The problem is, these video tripods are generally more expensive than the conventional three-legged variety. Your video tripod will need to be able to take a lot of abuse. Buy the best you can afford. Most video tripods can reach a useful height, but it is also important to check how low it can go. The Sachtler video Tripod System 0475 FSB-6 is a carbon-fiber tripod offering stable movements to deliver the best images possible This Sachtler Tripod FSB-6 system consists of the FSB-6 fluid head, 2-stage carbon-fiber tripod, mid-level spreader and case with 13.2 IBs capacity. Dynamic counter balancing the S Tripod Systems compensates for torques as the camera tilts, preventing the camera from inadvertently tipping, and ensuring that it is positioned securely at any tilt angle I would recommended this Sachtler Tripod to any serious video operator or professional.

What Video Camera Tripod do I buy!

What tripod do I buy! There are many manufactures and types of tripods. I will discuss the video camera tripod that is necessary for the explosion of new videos being created in today’s market. The main two difference is the weight of the tripod and the price. There are two main kinds of tripods the carbon fibre and aluminium If you are shooting weddings, receptions, love stories, sports, documentaries, choirs and plays the heavier aluminium tripod would be adequate. Unless you are taking some really high tech, professional pictures, the cost of a carbon fibre would not be worth any picture quality you may notice.

When shooting travel videos, going to mountains, moving over rough terrain the lighter carbon fibre tripod would be a good selection. Using a carbon fibre video camera tripod in hot and cold conditions, the tripod does not get as cold or as hot in extreme weather conditions. The 4 leg-section is always collapses into a shorter closed length and would be a good choice. This can often mean the difference between fitting in that carry-on suitcase and leaving your tripod behind. The carbon fibre dampens vibration faster than aluminum

When the tripod needs to be above the eye level a center column when having to get above the crowd or when you need to get close to the ground use a tripod without a center column. Remember the main consideration the video camera tripod should be stable and easy to set up.

Buy the best tripod that you can afford. Our next blogs in this series will look at different manufactures, the tripod construction and reviews

The results are in, your home with your footage taken with your camera and video camera stabilizer. The finished video has been edited in your favorite editor. It is time to give your video documentary a title. Well what does a monster fish have to do with a video camera stabilizer nothing but it caught your interest and you read the article or watched the video. For instance if you called your documentary “Our Trip to Fish Lake” the title doesn’t have any impact, but if you called your video “Monster fish from Fish lake” you have caught your person interest. The title is the first thing that your reader will see, make your title interesting with impact. By using your video camera stabilizer raise some eyebrows, a story is been created but sometimes put your camera on the ground or use a low mode attachment with the camera stabilizer or use the video camera tripod, by moving the camera you can create impact and interest the same way the title will create interest. The video camera stabilizer with a little practice is a wonderful tool to create video.

Video Camera Tripod

For most of your video production work the video camera tripod is essential. The most important features in a video camera tripod is to support your camera, enhance the compost ion, force perspective and provide smooth pan and angle movements. A professional video camera tripod consists of a head, legs, (sticks) feet and a spreader. Heads allow movement that is smooth and fluid so we get the name fluid heads. The operator can fine tune the resistance or drag to his or her preference. Effectively positioning the video camera tripod parallel to the ground allows for natural composition and balanced panning. Some tripods have a levelling bubble to balance the tripod. Unbalanced camera rigs have a tendency to tip over, or at the very least cause movements rough and jerky. To remedy this, professional tripod heads often employ counterbalance systems to keep your camera, lens, audio equipment and other accessories balanced above the apex of the sticks. Tripod legs take all the weight of the camera gear, and come in a variety of configurations. Stages refer to the number of locking positions on the legs. A single-stage tripod has 1 locking set combining 2 sections. A two-stage tripod uses 2 locking sets joining 3 sections. Since single-stage tripods contain fewer components, they are typically more stable than multi-stage sticks. However, two-stage tripods tend to collapse shorter for easier packing and transport. In choosing a set of sticks, you ought to consider minimum/maximum height and weight capacity. Make a list of the shooting heights that best fit your project or style. If you take your camera production seriously, it is important to use a stable professional video camera tripod.
